Spring 2005
Spring is nearly here and the weather downunder at least is warming up, so to, are the kitchens of many of the worlds great chefs. many are expanding with my friend Nobu opening his thrid putlet in London this past month. Another friend patrick willis has achieved two one michelin star ratings in his restaurants in London this year. Don Pintabona has moved on from Tribeca Grill and open in Jackonsville, Florida and reports are he is heading for a return to the stoves in New York in a new venture with his investors.
In Australia, the world final of the black box competition for young chefs will be concluded next month on the Gold Coast during the Asia Pacific WACCS forum. Promotions are planned for events in Sri Lanka and Dubai later in the year and I will keep you all posted.
