During the late 1980's a major expansion in agricultural and pastoral activities was successfully implemented, and today Laradoc's business activities focus on two main sectors, prime lamb and grain fed yearling beef production.

The company is a speciality grower and supplier of premium, new age lamb, yearling grain fed and grass fed beef products under the registered brands of Countryside Grain Fed and Laradoc Gold Select.

Prime lamb and Yearling beef products are sourced from the Company's feedlot and farms situated in the Riverina, a major agricultural region of South Eastern Australia. Laradoc currently operates retail meat outlets in Australia and supplies retail, food service and hospitality markets in South East Asia.

Laradoc offers a variety of primal beef and lamb cuts suited to the retail, house staff meals and hotel banqueting sectors. Without compromising the importance of flavour or tenderness, Laradoc's product application and utilisation development programmes for non-loin cuts will offer considerable savings in prime ingredient costs for executive chefs, and food and beverage or meat department managers. These selected products are versatile, high yielding, easy to prepare, full flavoured and economically suitable.

"New Age" Lamb

The breeding and market development of "new age" lamb and the growth in demand for Free Australian Range Lamb (FARL) has seen Laradoc expand its irrigated farming areas to meet this demand. Prime lean lambs are fed on irrigated pastures of the Murray Valley Basin and turned off at finished carcasse weights applicable to each market destination.
