Mathis Food Affairs, established in 1992 by Reto Mathis, is a world class gourmet mecca. It is situated at the top of the Corviglia mountain railway, above St.Moritz, where winter sports were born.
This „Mountaintop-Emporium" makes every visitor feel at home, catering to all levels and demands - Oklahoma Joe's B-B-Q Grill provides the snow boarding set with an ideal place to refuel; Next to it is a swinging bar called „Mathis On The Rocks" that oozes atmosphere, and is impossible to resist.
Downstairs is the world renowned „MARMITE" gourmet restaurant with its infamous „DOLCE VITA" dessert buffet that could survive on its own merits. In the „Marmite", even spaghettis are elevated to new heights with the recent addition of the delicious „RETO'S PASTA-ARTS" sauces. The Mathis family still buys all their fresh seasonal products locally, and behind the scenes, creating the delights, is a veritable army of professionals to guarantee the best.
Mathis Food Affairs is well equipped to organize theme celebrations throughout the year, while also providing a collection of gourmet food items. Being recognized by his peers as a first class restaurateur, Reto also hosts food and wine festivals to pamper the palate and promote joie de vivre.
